Cheap groceries that put all the big chains to shame when it comes to prices. Decent fresh vegetables and fruits. Cheap milk, cereal, staples and some really cool German specialties that they carry once a while. Aldi is German company that has opened stores in the US. It drove WalMart out of Germany and hopefully it will do the same in this country.

Tried SALT for the first time this weekend. The food was truly the best I have had in Baltimore in years. From the duck fries which were supperb, to the delicious rock fish served with the crab empanada to the donut holes, everything was outstanding. It is good to know that we have restaurants like SALT in Baltimore. They are approachable and you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get a great meal. I will be back to this place many many times.

Loved this restaurant. Everything about it was superp. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service and fair prices. When you walk in the dining room you feel like you are in a restaurant somewhere south of Paris. (somewhere where there is a French Safeway Food and Drug nearby). The food was spectacular. Our party tried several different entrees and first plates and they were all uniformly excellent. The bread pudding for desert was to die for. I will keep coming back.

By the way, our waitress was wonderful.
