Maryland Athletic Club (MAC)
Neighborhood: Harbor East Category: Gyms & FitnessI couldn’t imagine belonging to any other gym in Baltimore. I’ve been a MAC member for almost 10 years and love it. I work out at the Harbor East facility every morning and greatly appreciate the cleanliness and efficiency of the gym. It feels more like a spa then a gym. If you join, be sure to take advantage of the aquatics program – its one of the best in the country!!

Went to Three… last Saturday night for dinner and had a wonderful time. I’ve always been a fan of Three… and the fact that it is walking distance from my house makes it even better. The restaurant was very busy so my husband and I opted to sit at the bar. Unbeknown to us, Three… now takes reservations. Good to know for our next trip but anyway, we had a wonderful meal. My husband and I shared the tai mussels in coconut milk (amazing, large and juicy and cleaned very well!) to start which was a great compliment with our cocktails. For dinner, I had the mixed greens with goat cheese (so good) and the turkey Gryo flatbread (much larger then I expected, this is definitely big enough for a meal). My husband had the meatloaf and scallops (which came in a delightful spicy sauce) and loved both items. We sipped on a bottle of the Boogle Petite Sarah with dinner -an excellent bargain wine but very high in quality – and split the pear cake for dessert which was an absolutely perfect compliment to a chilly fall night. We loved everything and as always, are looking forward to our next meal at Three…
Also, shout out to Ross the bartending who provided excellent service and great conversation.

Red Star
Neighborhood: Fells Point Category: Bars, American (Traditional)Went to Red Star for Brunch on Sunday and had an AMAZING breakfast burrito with spicy chicken, scrambled eggs (substituted for egg whites), peppers and jack cheese. It was really delicious. My husband had crab eggs benedict and loved it. This was the first time I was ever there for brunch and would highly recommend it....

My husband had crab eggs benedict and loved it. This was the first time I was ever there for brunch and would highly recommend it. My In-laws were with us and really enjoyed themselves. Bottomless Mimosa's and Bloody's for $8. Nothing beats a little day drinking with the In-Laws. We didn’t have a reservation but it looked like they accept them for Brunch, which I would recommend because it was very busy.
