Notes for Tom:
Log in or sign up to post a noteYou know what, Abbey Burger will be soon in my reviews... I have to check out the place!
1) You're too kind. I feel all sparkly and special on the inside.
2) The writeup at the Sun is awesome. Great job.
The place I used to go to was all the way in Columbia - right next to the Sheraton Hotel - on that little pond/lake thing. It was SO good and very cheap. WE do really need a place in the city.. Let me know if you find one! :)
Thanks for the feature, Tom! Next stop, Abbey Burger...I have a feeling that place will become a weakness.

Nanami Cafe (formerly Kawasaki)
Neighborhood: Fells Point Category: SushiQuickly becoming my goto sushi spot in the waterfront area. Casual, fresh and quite reasonably priced. Good spicy tuna, salmon and tempura. Friendly staff. Great outdoor waterfront outdoor seating (next to V-No). Rolls are mostly $6 to $10. Always satisfies my sushi craving without breaking the bank. Quick tip - watch...

Isabella's
Neighborhood: Little Italy Category: Italian, Pizza, SandwichesGreat sandwiches and solid pizza. Try the Marcel. Half subs are around $7 if memory serves me right. Not a steal, but you'll get good quality Italian meats and cheese. The owner is a trip -- I think his stand-up career didn't work out so Isabella's was his fall-back plan. Lucky for us!

Pizzazz Tuscan Grille
Neighborhood: Downtown/Inner Harbor Category: Italian, PizzaGood downtown lunch spot, especially on a nice day when you can sit outside. Located in the Pier 5 Hotel across from the Aquarium, Pizzazz focuses on healthier Italian, using whole wheat pastas/breads and organic ingredients. Prices are under $10 for a sandwich and fries. Tried the meatball and sweet potato fries....

Tried the meatball and sweet potato fries. Both were quite good. A nice addition to the lunch scene. Looking forward to going back to sample the pastas.
