600block Special of the Week

OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES

ELIGIBILITY: The 600block.com “Special of the Week” Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to individuals who are legal residents of Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia and are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Limit one entry per person. All subsequent entries from the same person or e-mail address will be disqualified. Any attempt by a person to enter more than once with multiple e-mail accounts will result in disqualification. The Sweepstakes is an electronic random drawing.

Employees and directors of 600 Block, Inc. (“Sponsor”), as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee and director are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

ENTRY PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins upon the 600block.com Special of the Week becoming live on-line and ends upon the termination of the Special of the Week section (the "Entry Period").

HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, visit www.600block.com/sotw and complete the online form and enter all required registration information, then click "Submit" to enter. There is no cost to enter. Once submitted, entry cannot be modified, deleted or returned. Proof of online submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. Non-conforming entries are void and will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, giveaway entry services) will void all entries by that entrant.

To be eligible for each week's prize drawing, all online entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the Monday following the announced giveaway. Also, on certain weeks, and at 600block’s sole discretion, 600block may also allow entry via Twitter and Facebook social networks. Entrant must follow posted instructions for that specific week to qualify for entry. 600block's computer is the official time keeper for this Sweepstakes.

RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any loss, claim, cause of action or liability arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing or human errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (e) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; (f) inability to access the Sponsor's website; (g) transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (h) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes, receipt, or use/misuse of any prize.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: In the event that any fraud, virus, technical error, bug, unauthorized human intervention or other problem impairs the administration, fairness, integrity, or security of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and either: (a) take reasonable action to resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that most closely adheres to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) cancel the Sweepstakes and award any remaining prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

WINNER SELECTION: Each Wednesday, between one and five winners will be selected to win a $25 gift card through a random drawing of all eligible entries received. All drawings will be held at 600block offices. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All drawings will be conducted and judged by 600block, whose decisions and interpretations of these Official Rules shall apply and be final and binding.

Winners will be notified either by mail, e-mail and/or telephone. If a winner does not respond and meet the below requirements within two (2) business days of attempted contact, 600block reserves the right to randomly select an alternate winner from the names of all entries that did not win a prize. In order to receive a prize, winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where legally permissible, a publicity release, and may also be required to provide additional information (which may include, but not be limited to, social security or other tax information), waivers and releases. Winners will have two (2) days, using a pre-paid overnight mail envelope, to provide all such information and to execute and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and publicity release (if required by 600block). These documents will, among other things, release the Released Parties from any claims, losses, injuries or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or the use or receipt of any prizes, and allow the use of the winner's name and likeness. Failure to comply with the foregoing, or the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable, may cause the winner to forfeit their prize and 600block reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

ADVERTISING: Except where prohibited by law or regulation, winner's acceptance of prize will constitute permission for 600block and the other Released Parties to use winner's name, likeness, and statements for any purpose in reference to the Sweepstakes and this promotion without additional compensation, consideration, or consent.

PRIZES: Between one and five winners each week will receive a $25 gift card redeemable at the business featured for that given week. Specific additional details of prizes shall be in 600block's discretion.

MISCELLANEOUS: 600block reserves the right to change or replace the prize at any time with a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is not transferable, assignable nor redeemable for cash. All Federal, State and Local laws and regulations apply. Winners will be responsible for all Federal, State or other applicable taxes in connection with the receipt of prizes.

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Maryland in no event attorneys' fees or expenses; and (c) entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.

Allow three (3) weeks for postal delivery of the winner's list. For confidentiality purposes, winners’ contact information will not be released.

TERMINATION: Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Sweepstakes by giving notice, in which case the Sweepstakes will immediately terminate.
