Awesome view. Food is good............but, coconut shrimp is served on a skewer. This skewer just won't come out!! Cooked perfectly, but why the skewer? It forces you to leave a lot of waste. Calamari was cooked perfectly.

This is probably in my top five favorite Baltimore bars. I've spent many a Sunday here, looking out over the water, and sipping on $3 Coronas. The staff could use an attitude adjustment every once in a while, but the atmosphere more than makes up for the short-comings of its staff.

The real draw of Woody's is the view. To me, it is the ultimate happy hour spot due to this reason. The bar is on the 3rd floor of the building above Maggie Moo's. It is connected, and owned, by Slainte. While it may be owned by Slainte, the Caribbean theme is very different then the dark closed off vibe of an Irish Pub. And this is a good thing. The bar is open air, with ceiling fans and plexiglass attached to a guard rail so as not to hinder the view. Since it's on the third floor there is usually a nice breeze going through the place, making it comfortable even in the dog days of summer.
At happy hour the place surprisingly isn't too busy. There are people there, but not that many. I suggest sidling up to one of the tables on the rail over looking the harbor. It offers a great view of the Homicide wharf, a view of tide point and you can watch the water taxi and tugs pull in and and out the area while you enjoy $3 coronas. Yes, that's right, coronas are $3 all the time. I'd think a place with a view like this would be pricy, but Woody's has a lot of specials going on.
For food, it pretty standard fare. Nothing has knocked my socks off, but I've been pleased with everything I've ordered there. The best thing I got was the shrimp tacos, and if you get there on Tuesday they are half price. The view, cheap beer and good food are all reasons why I keep heading back.
