I absolutely LOVE Walt's Inn...Best Karaoke Bar in Baltimore. Drinks are cheap, they have an extensive list of songs to choose from, a nice little dance floor and always a cool accomodating crowd of folks....

Best damn Karaoke in the city...not a glamorous place, but hell this is Baltimore and we don't need glamour, just brews, buds and tunes! Walt's is just that place, if you happen to fall off a boat and wash up in Canton, you can roll in Walt's grab a beer from the great bartenders there (Gunna & Dawn are awesome), stick a mic in your face and sing until your lungs implode. Everyone gets into it here, and the drinks are cheap but well made (you must do the jellos!) --- the dude with the 'issues' below likely brought them with him, oh well there's always one. ---

Worst service I have ever received. I ordered a drink for myself and my wife. When the drink came back incorrect, I politely asked to correct this miscommunication. When I brought this to the attention of the bartenders, I was told that this was because I did not tip enough on my first drink (this was my first ever order with this bar) and was told to "F" myself and that the bartenders lived off tips. Needless to say I will never return to this bar and I encourage anyone else to do the same if they do no want awful service.

Sure it's a dive, but when a place makes me feel comfortable enough to actually get up and do some karaoke then it's A-OK in my book. Walt's Inn is a few blocks away from the insanity that is Canton Square and the crowd is a few million miles away the typical Canton bar patron you're likely to see there. This is a neighborhood bar that'll serve you up a beer quick and friendly and fire up the karaoke machine at your request almost any night of the week. The bar flies are a little older but are always happy to chat you up about the days of yore in the 21224. A couple TV's with the O's game on and an odd penchant for passing out homemade jello shots make this place a welcome break from the Square. What better place to end your night on the 6 block walk back to your car?
