obviously the neighborhood didn't love it enough. Best of luck to the new owners.

This comfortable restaurant at the corner of Baltimore Street and The Patterson Park has the power to surprise. I had ribs with a latin flavor and the most amazing stoneground cornbread with a kick. The ribs were obviously lovingly and gently prepared so they were tender and moist, rich and complex. The tomatilla marinade was a fresh balance. The cornbread had a just-right citrus (lime?) zing. I would have never imagined it to be good, but it was great. Rarely get surprised these days; I want this great neighborhood spot to keep succeeding. This restaurant is not as pretentious as our other good neighborhood spot, Salt, but the food is very special.

Stopped in to check out the new Sunday brunch and had a fantastic bloody mary this morning. $2.50. Hard to beat that. The outdoor seating was packed, so get there early if the weather's nice. I'm definitely headed back when I have more time to savor some of the menu items!

New Review: Three has really made an effort to win over the neighborhood with all night happy hour on Wednesdays, cheaper sandwiches that make a meal, and lots more affordable options. I'm there almost every Wednesday for drinks and dinner and am so glad they are listening to what we, the neighbors, want. Love you, Three!

Went to Three… last Saturday night for dinner and had a wonderful time. I’ve always been a fan of Three… and the fact that it is walking distance from my house makes it even better. The restaurant was very busy so my husband and I opted to sit at the bar. Unbeknown to us, Three… now takes reservations. Good to know for our next trip but anyway, we had a wonderful meal. My husband and I shared the tai mussels in coconut milk (amazing, large and juicy and cleaned very well!) to start which was a great compliment with our cocktails. For dinner, I had the mixed greens with goat cheese (so good) and the turkey Gryo flatbread (much larger then I expected, this is definitely big enough for a meal). My husband had the meatloaf and scallops (which came in a delightful spicy sauce) and loved both items. We sipped on a bottle of the Boogle Petite Sarah with dinner -an excellent bargain wine but very high in quality – and split the pear cake for dessert which was an absolutely perfect compliment to a chilly fall night. We loved everything and as always, are looking forward to our next meal at Three…
Also, shout out to Ross the bartending who provided excellent service and great conversation.

Food, atmosphere, location, and of course, the staff! The perfect ingredients needed for a successful restaurant, and to me, Three has everything it needs! I love being greeted the moment I walk in by either Mike, the owner growing a handlebar mustache, or bartender Ross, the single, sexy Harley rider. The only thing that can distract me from their smiles, is the food. I can't rave enough about the Arugula salad, the Shrimp Cakes, or Pete's (the amazing Chef) creation of Ahi tuna and Raisins. Give it a shot and enjoy a seasonal menu that's sure to satisfy.

Otherwise I find the food completely lackluster, and the drinks are a bit on the pricy side. It's a pretty nice bar, but would appreciate it more if they were a bit more cozy and a bit less fru fru. The food I've had has been very small portions (which I think is their intent, so can't really slam it), but it just hasn't had the flavor that I expect from tapas style food. The price is a bit much for what I'm getting so I usually just settle for an appetizer, and the entrees usually just don't sound appetizing. Now that my friend doesn't live right around the block we are there less, which is just fine by me.
