the majority of the dishes on the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan with the option of tofu or vegetarian mock duck (a yummy wheat gluten concoction) on top. this is my absolute favorite thai restaurant in all of baltimore- and i've tried them all. if i'm feeling fancy, i like to start with the fresh spring roll appetizer, though it's a little on the pricey side ($6 for two rolls- i could eat six!). if i'm getting a noodle dish, i always go for the vegetarian mock duck on top, because, really, where else can you get vegetarian mock duck in this town?! another favorite of mine is the ob woon-sen, or clay pot of thin noodles, veggies and bean paste served with a side of rice-it's heat is perfect on a cold evening. -and an added bonus- it's BYOB.
