This is the only place that I will go to buy music and movies, great place. They don't really follow street dates with anything so if you are looking to pick something up a little early head over there and check it out. They have an extensive collection of used movies and music and a great vinyl section.

Huge selection of used music and DVDs, including a substantial number of used Blu-Ray disks for awesome prices. Great for just browsing for a long time if you have nothing else to do. I usually end up walking out with at least something, even if they didn't have exactly what I had in mind, which is rare. Often overlooked is the fact that they have their own parking lot adjacent to the shop which I've never had trouble finding a spot in. Certainly beats the normal routine of driving circles around Fells Point for an hour and a half looking for parking.

Literally the best music & media store in the city. The selection is excellent. There's always cool stuff in the used bins. And its open real late on Friday & Saturday.

In a town the size of Baltimore with a music scene as big and diverse as the city itself why is Soundgarden the only option of its kind? This place should be twice as big as it is. The only reason I like Soundgarden is because it seems to be my only option. Their vinyl slection is very small and there are no listening stations. Their used section is nice but any college town would have similar. It should be leaps and bounds better than Record and Tape Traders but it's not. Yet the town is beholden to Soundgarden so that's where I go. I guess. It's a shame. I love sifting through music but this place doesn't do it for me.

The Sounds Garden has great prices for used movies and music. Here I can trade my old movies in and buy new ones for much less then buying them new. I must visit for Fells Point.

Best place to by media in Baltimore. No question. Huge selection of music, new and used. Large record selection. Great DVD prices!
