Big soccer/rugby crowd. If I show up at 9.30 on a Saturday morning and want to watch my team on the TV upstairs, they won't bump me for a more popular team (well, they haven't yet but I've come to expect it in other places I've lived...). I can't eat ANY of their food so I can't say but I know my friends love it.

Capable upper-midmarket Gaelic pub food. Menu is more adventurous than the other faux-Irish bars on the block. Friendly, inviting neighborhoody crowd.

Always have enjoy Slainte. Not just for the atmosphere on Sunday mornings but the food! There were some times where we weren't sure about it but they've got a new (6-8 months) chef who has maintained the menu but brought the flavors back to life. Give anything on that menu a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

The food is really good. I go every week on Wednesday nights and have yet to try something I don't like. The staff seems to have stabilized a little bit, too, and once they get to know you, you're like family. And there's plenty of parking around... which is generally a deal breaker for me when push comes to shove. Busy nights are Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you want a quiet night at the bar with some neighborhood locals and great bartenders, go on Monday and Tuesday nights.
