I think that Safeway would benefit greatly from a real deli. There is only ever maybe one person back there, maybe two, they never acknowledge you if you are waiting. Sundays when everyone is shopping you are lucky if you can get through the deli in the time it takes to do the rest of your grocery shopping. Then you get up to the front and they have maybe 4 regular lanes open with people lining up down the aisles. If, as a store, you are unable to accommodate the local community then either make the changes necessary or let another grocery store come into the area that can!
