As far as the FedHill fratboy scene goes, Ropewalk is more relaxed and friendlier than most. Passable midmarket pub menu. Reasonable tap selection. Generous, diverse spaces; even when it gets slammed, there's usually some corner to find to get out of the crush.

I can always recommend stopping in Ropewalk for a drink. Whether on a weekend afternoon or for a quick one after work, time and time again, this replublican influenced bar has consistently been where to go. Staff is friendly, food is good, rooms are spacious, and plenty of good looking people come and go all night long. Can't go wrong with adding Ropewalk to your list!
