Love this place. Current favorite gelato combination is the Spicy Chocolate and Crema.

Seriously. Nothing is better than this place. Fresh ingredients, great flavor choices and it's not outrageously priced. Oh, and the service is really good too!

I tried the mojito, and while it was interesting, I just don't think it worked well. Reading other reviews folks seemed to like it, so maybe it's just me. I got the gf hazelnut, and she thought it was just decent. Nothing spectacular. Neither flavor was exceptional, and it's pretty pricy. In the future I'll probably just head across the street to Mr. Yogato.

Smart, exceptionally capable neighborhood gelateria. The selection of fruity and creamy flavors manage to meld together expertly, with the refinement of truly handcrafted, artisanal expertise. Mojito and white grapefruit is a particularly favorite combination. The spicy dark chocolate is a revelation of rich, warm and deep flavors.

The Best Gelatos in Town! Don't be afraid to go there in winter or during chilly days because they have a tremendous hot chocolate and real espressos!

Pitango gelato is heavenly. The gelato is made fresh in the store and it delivers supreme quality and taste. Creamy, sweet and bold, Pitango gelato and an illy latte is the perfect treat.

I would eat Pitango every day of the week, if I wasn't afraid of the serious health consequences. It is out-of-this-world.

Truly the best find since our recent move, Pitango Gelato is hands down the best Gelato I've ever had. And nah, nah, nah DC, Baltimore had one first. You will be getting one in Old Town (or G'Town?) soon and do not miss out on the Mojito! The mint and lime flavors are a perfect harmony singing on your tongue as if to say, "let me linger here for a bit longer." Ah summer. You couldn't find a better partner. Fabulous for the lactose intollerant as well.

Skip past Maggie Moo's and try some tasty Pitango gelato. With about a dozen flavors, you're sure to find something to hit the spot. I usually opt for the dark chocolate or hazelnut. They let you do half-and-half...good for those indecisive moments. If you're feeling like some crunch, ask for a free cone. The prices aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Quality that you can taste and all organic ingredients from their own PA farm. Very cool.
