That aside, it's a good park, especially now that more lights are being installed. The park definitely has a diverse crowd, from drunken football and softball for yuppies (BSSC) to the constant latino soccer games on the eastern fields and everybody else in between just walking around enjoying the day.

You gotta love Patterson Park. A great place to wander on a sunny day, gawk at the sea of BSSC shirts, trip over a dog leash, torment the ducks, hit some tennis balls, swing on the swings, brave a city pool, check out a festival or inflame your allergies. It's a little slice of green heaven populated by a diverse mix of city goers. A word of advice -- no matter how good it sounds, do not meet anyone at the duck pond after dark.
