From what I hear, Papermoon actually serves pretty good diner food-- even though I've eaten there myself several times, I really couldn't tell you. From what I hear, Papermoon actually serves pretty good diner food-- even though I've eaten there myself several times, I really couldn't tell you. You see, when I eat there it's usually late or I've been drinking. In either case, I have trouble accurately recalling the experience the next day. All I can tell you is, after those nights, I wake up thinking I've had a weird trippy dream filled with kids toys, only to recall that, nope, that wasn't a dream, I just ate at Papermoon.

Excellent, fun atmosphere. Some fairly original menu items. Being diner food and all, the food is sometimes more greasy and diner-like than one would want. Regardless, Paper Moon is one of the better places to hang out and occasionally catch the occasional Ottobar act hanging out after a show there.

Ever wonder where that favorite childhood toy went? There's a good chance you'll be able to rediscover that conglomerate of plastic somewhere within the confines of the Papermoon Diner. From the multi-colored exterior to the rather impressive display of every PEZ dispenser known to man, the Papermoon has one of the coolest atmospheres in Baltimore. And don't let the diner title fool you, the food is actually pretty good. A blend of culinary basics (i.e. burgers, sandwiches, dinner specials) but with a sophisticated twist. Papermoon is also extremely vegetarian friendly and has a spectacular breakfast menu served all day long. Oh, and did I mention that is was open 24 hours a day and has onsite parking? If your looking for a quirky haunt that can satisfy your inner child, vegetarian cronies, and unorthodox sense of time, the Papermoon Diner is your place.
