Review for: O'Donnell's

10/14/2011 user thumbnail Dan B. says:

A lot has changed at O'Donnell's since my first review and I've been promising to update this for a while. The newest update is the addition of new bathrooms that are super nice. I kinda liked the old turn handle urinal but the new restrooms are cleaner and more inviting. Now I know you're thinking new bathrooms, wow. But that is only the most recent update. Before that Kim and John made a lot of changes that make this the most underrated bar in all of Canton. They added six flat screen TVs, a credit card machine (no longer cash only), and lots of drink specials. This place on Sunday during football season is unlike any other place in the city. It's not crowded, has a pot luck and door prizes for a couple bucks, and is full of purple and black - no crappy black and gold here! They've also recently begun a shuffleboard tournament for $5 on Wednesdays that is blowing up. The scene has definitely taken a turn for the younger but thankfully all the regulars are still there. The combination of young and old always makes for interesting conversation. The best two things about this bar are the low prices and the always available seat, a rare commodity in Canton. If you sleep on O'Donnell's you're missing out.

If you're looking for another Canton bar keep looking. The average age is approximately 55 and the Hallmark Channel is on at least one TV at all times. However, if you like to get a beer within moments of wanting to order one, pay rock bottom prices, and/or enjoy playing shuffleboard you've got to give O'Donnell's a try.
