Great authentic Greek food! I have not had a real dolmathes for years! They were huge and juicy yumminess~ homemade with fresh grape leaves and fresh made stuffing. And the tzatziki sauce was the so good, it was the real deal. If you're not in the mood for Greek food, the Pizza, subs and sandwiches are awesome too.

Never On Sunday is my go-to when I don't feel like cooking, I'm out late, etc. They have an awesome menu of subs, wraps, and the like, and they also offer some really tasty Greek delights, and I don't even like Greek food. Late-night barclose grub nirvana. Leave the otherwise passable subs and slices for the rowdy drunkies. You want the real deal? Stick to the Greek menu. Flavorful, moist gyros and souvlakis; hefty, satisfying dolmathes; bonus points for generous helpings of tzatziki. Be prepared for the parade of Mt. Vernon's...

AFAIK, this is the only place where you can get food at 3 am in Mt. Vernon, which is a huge bonus, but also weird. Why isn't more stuff open late? Anyway, I've had a Gyro at 5 places in the city and Never on Sunday's is hands down the best. Order one up with a side of gravy fries covered in excessive amounts of...

Order one up with a side of gravy fries covered in excessive amounts of salt and pepper. You will not regret this choice ... at least not until you finish it and swear next time you are going to split the gyro and fries with a friend, only to be really hungry one night in the not so distant future where history will repeat itself in a greasy, awesome way.
