Capable neighborhood Thai. Flavors are authentic, if sometimes inconsistent with their spiciness scores. Be prepared that today's three might be tomorrow's one. Deeply satisfying larb, tom yum, and satays. Curries are flavorful and rich. Cocktails and fun and festive, if not frilly and a little silly. Space...

Servers are capable and friendly.

I really enjoyed My Thai. It's cute inside, quite atmosphere. I also like that you can choose on a scale of 1-5 chili peppers which indicate a spicy level. I had an appetizer as level 2 and it was pretty darn spicy. Then dinner at a level 1 and it was perfect for my weak taste buds. I'd do back for sure. The food was...

I find that the food is always too salty and oily. I'm a vegetarian though, so maybe the chef thinks that's how you flavor non-meat dishes. I think the service is hit or miss too - our last server would get about 10 feet from our table and shout at us "how's everything?" then turn away before we could shout back....

Thai Arroy, Lemongrass and Chokchai are far better Thai places, IMO.

My Thai is a little basement spot just above the monument with a very attractive brick interior and excellent food (and drinks). I haven't tried much on the menu except Drunken Noodles, order both normally and extra hot. Before moving to Baltimore, we went to a great Thai place that just couldn't ever satisfy on the spicy scale. My Thai does not disappoint when it comes to heat ... something that must be present in good Thai food, in my opinion.
