NEW MENU / NEW MANAGEMENT

Throughout Baltimore City there are multiple dive bars that range from a complete hole in the wall to more upscale sophisticated bars/restaurants. I have frequented a variety of the bars throughout the city, and I must say not many compare to Hummers. Hummer’s bar and grille provides a great atmosphere along with great service. The food is fantastic, and the service is nothing short of perfect. Countless times I have waited forever to get a drink, or been ignored by a bartender. Specifically, the guy who works on weekends, is laid back, has a great personality and makes everyone feel welcome. In fact, there are a variety of people who visit Hummers just because of the friendly personalities of the bartenders and atmosphere that all of the employees of Hummer’s provides. I highly recommend visiting Hummers if you’re looking for great food, great atmosphere, and great people.

We just started going to Hummers on Wed. nights before our Baltimore Kickball games. Super nice staff, good food, chill vibe. Very fun atmosphere! Not packed but hey, it's a wednesday night!

We finally made it to Hummers for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my friends birthday. We were not dissapointed. There was not alot of people there, but the canton bar crawl was the same day, so I am sure that had something to do with it. The fact that it was not jam packed like the bars on the square was refreshing. The bartender the night we were there was very friendly and attentive. Loved the fact that thre was a little lounge in back with a Wii!

I really heart this place. It's become my neighborhood bar of choice - definitely not a dive but not stuffy, either. It's a little off the beaten path from the square so I haven't seen it packed to the brim; however there's a pretty good crowd on the weekends. They have some really great drink specials, the food is surprisingly good and the owners/managers/bartenders are nice and fun.

Went to Hummer's the other week and thought it was a nice neighborhood bar. The beer was cheap, the place looked decent, and the crowd there was laid back yet fun. I'll definitely be back as this is only a few blocks away. With Canton square being packed on the weekend nights it's nice to have a decent neighborhood bar.

Theys said they are working to get a kitchen going, but had things like wings and pizza on the menu. I tried the wings, and actually had to send them back. Hopefully once they get the kitchen up and running they work out the kinks better.

One thing to note is that the review below mine is by the general manager. Read the link to the Sun's review he posted - GM's name is Uriah Burrow, and the review on this site is by Uriah B. I'm betting this isn't a coincidence. If you are the owner or GM, you should disclose in the review that you are a paid employee.

This place is a stunner...I haven't seen decor like this in a long time!!! Currently serving Pizza, kitchen to open soon! The drink specials are untouchable by any other establishment. All Martinis are $7!!!!! The ladies night is 2 for 1 on anything all night long...WOW!! Spectacular service, clean, and luxurious all at the same time....they make you feel as if you are chillin in your living room!!!! A diamond in the roughest part of Canton, but well lit outside and a manager who demands excellence while in or around his place...i thought those days had passed!!!!
