Holey's is good for cheap eats. Their plates are big so they make for good splitter meals. Take your sweety there and split a big-ass burrito, kick back a few Natty Bohs and get out of there for under $20. Their cucumber margaritas are pretty good too.

I love Holy's and I hate Holy's. The food is good. But it's Mexican and how hard is it to mess that up? However, don't tangle with the chips and salsa in the summer because they keep the chips in a big open-air tub and they get stale with all the humidity.
But.... Holy's no longer has the $1 beer can special. We were told that they weren't making any money on that special. Whatever. They have no liquor sales on Sunday. And their happy hour specials are for the bar only. Not bar area; bar. Sitting at the bar. And that is at the discretion of the bartender. So if you are *standing* at the bar, you might not get happy hour specials.
And the mango and cucumber margaritas? Never on special.
Service is spotty. Sometimes it’s fine. Sometimes it’s not.
But the food is fine. Mostly.
