The cocktail drinks are really good, and the food is delicious, specially their french fries.

Can't say enough good things about this bar/restaurant. The owner is a great guy with a real passion for bringing traditional and delicious latin american food to Baltimore. Not just traditional food, which can be found at any number of places up and down Broadway, the food is prepared to the quality that foodies in Baltimore have come to expect.

On my last trip I was treated to a Cuban pork sandwich that did nothing less than blow my mind. Having made many a trip to Miami I'm no stranger to the pork sandwich, and in the world of food it ranks among my favorite staples. Cilantro's take on the sandwich though is, for lack of a better word, perfect. Stuffed with a mix of thin sliced deli ham and thick sliced smoked ham and topped with liberal amounts of cheese then pressed between a french roll just looking at it made my mouth water. It came with a side of fried plantain chips that rounded out the plate perfectly.

When the owner heard I was a big fan of Miami and cuban flavor he offered to make me a mojito. I of course agree and after several minutes of anxious waiting was treated to one of the best mojitos I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. The mint wasn't overpowering, but it was very present, an absolute treat.

The restaurant is new and trying to make a niche for itself. I highly recommend you support this wonderful establishment, it makes for a great alternative to the normal burger and beer joint that surrounds the rest of the Fells Point square.
