I've been to Gecko's dozens of times, and have yet to be disappointed. My personal favorite is the BBQ Chicken Chipotle Enchilada, but I've tried most of the menu, and it's all been terrific. I've always had nothing but friendly service while there, too.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a really nicely done interior as well. It's one of the places I recommend to people new to the area. A very cool hidden gem.

Great food and drinks, but the service ALWAYS sucks! I've been there for dinner many times, always hoping for a better experience, but hey, at least they are consistent!

Absolutely by far the best margarita I've ever had in my life. On Monday nights, they have tapas and great sangria. If you spend a few hours there once, these folks will know you and say hi like you're old friends every time you return. The food is great, too, especially the chipotle barbeque wings and the crabcake sandwich. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but it's really fun and quirky on the inside. The parking can be more heinous than most of Canton because it's off the beaten path and away from the square. I have driven around the block multiple times trying to get to this place on choice nights and given up to go somewhere that has easier parking.

I've been to Gecko's about 3 or 4 times. Each time has been a disappointment.

Brunch - While the mimosas are unlimited, the bloody marys were not. The waiter told us free drinks, but the bill disagreed. Also the food was a buffet and was just blah.

Dinner - I've tried the burritos, quesadillas and some tacos maybe. I think each and every thing has been pretty tasteless. When I want Mexican I want spice, or at least the flavors of chipotle, adobo, or some kind of pepper flavor. This lack of flavor is usually couple with meats that are usually overcooked to the point of being tough.

Also the service there has been pretty poor each time we've gone. I keep wanting things to improve as we have friends who love it, but I think I've given this place enough chances.
