It was certainly busy, but not cramped. I got the Baltimore Wings ... basically wings with Old Bay. They were some of the best wings I've had in the city after having wings at about 6 places.

Fraziers has the most value of any place on the Ave. in Hampden. The burgers are always big, juicey, done the way you want them (and I like them rare and that's rare that someone will do them for me that way...). On thurs., all day now, burgers are 1/2 price. The fries are actually my favorite because they are the cut square fries that still taste like potatos, albeit potatos w/grease (be sure to add the cheese, bacon and sour cream too!). The wings, while not my favorite in the city are worth the walk for me and the best on the Ave. But the truly shining moment Fraziers is Wed. nite, 1/2 price entree nite. $6 tuna steak, done just how you like it w/seseme, ginger sauce. Did I mention it's $6? Or the blackened catfish w/mango salsa for $6.50. Or the steak w/2 sides for $6.50.
Other specials include a happy hour Mon.- Fri. and usually every nite there is a beer special for $1.50-2.00. Tues., is karaokee and weekends they have bands.
Ok, there is a down side to Fraziers as well. The place is dark, dark, dark. I think vampires breed here. There are 2 sides, and one side is definately dirtier than the other, but both sides have that dirty quotient. And try to potty up before you get there. The bathrooms are probs the worst on the Ave.

Fraziers used to be a real greasy spoon but in the past 2 years the food has become the most consistantly good dish around. The head chef is young and inventive but you can still get your mom's meatloaf. I suggest the soy-ginger glazed Tuna Steak. Oh yea, it's only $7 on Wed. which is 1/2 price entre night!!! After...

After 3 visits I was a local and I don't even have any tattoos or piercings!
Oh, but ya may wanna potty up before heading out. They get my personal vote for worst restroom in Baltimore.
