Over St. Patrick's day we went for our weekly visit to find them prepping for the evening festivities, and not serving breakfast. When the owner saw us, he made it happen. Prime rib and eggs and an omelet, instead of cream chipped beef and pancakes, but it was delicious and the dedication and service was great and completely unexpected.

The decor is well done, and shows lots of Irish character and characters. A variety of traditional Irish instruments adorn the walls. I am confused on why they play jazz until St. Patrick's day instead of a selection of Irish music. It's good jazz though.

Claddagh Pub is obviously the greatest place on the planet. If the crab dip doesn't kill you with awesome, the Best Burger will. But not before the beer selection helps you achieve total enlightenment, so you'll have that going for you. Which is nice.

Very good pub grub. Probably the best on the Square. Bartenders can be a little slow and unattentive at times. The small Galway Lounge upstairs is my favorite spot. But all in all, a good solid option for a tasty meal and some suds in the 21224.
