Without having a real yard in Bawlmer, It's nice to have a dog park that you can let Fido run free at. Canton dog park is a good off leash park with two sides: one for large dogs, and one for small/older dogs.

I'll be there a lot socializing the dog, taking in the fresh smell of dog poop.

*edit: After heading there a lot, I'm just not feeling it anymore. Lately it seems every time I leave there the dog is covered in slobber and just flat out dirty, usually resulting in an immediate bath. I can usually find some other dogs to play with in Patterson Park, so we don't bother with the Canton Dog Park anymore.
