This place has a surprisingly good dining room. My meal was delicious

I love this place. Every time I've been there the food was beyond fantastic. It makes me do a little happy dance. They also have a great selection of top notch beer and liquor, the ports especially are wonderful. If I could afford it I would eat there all the time.

Good place to drink "high-octane"!

Great food of high quality. American interpreted eclectic European cuisine. Happy hour is busy and enjoyable. Order just a few apps and a salad for you and a friend and you will have enough for a meal. The space is a lovely old Baltimore town house with high ornate ceilings and a variety of areas from couches to pose on to fine dining in a wood paneled room to the lower (and louder) downstairs bar. No one exaggerates about the rosemary fries.

I just wish they had ANY lighter beer. I love great food, but I am a cheap date when it comes to beer. I find the beers there good, but quite heavy. I am after all a Baltimore girl raised on Natty Boh.

The place for Belgian-style brew. House brews never fail to please, and are always affordable. Be prepared; the temptation to overindulge can be overpowering. The rosemary-garlic fries are legendary, as is the Resurrection. The diverse spaces keep things interesting as the crowds from upstairs and downstairs intermingle. Be prepared for serious standing-room only on the weekends. Menu is smart; kitchen and service is capable, even when slammed.

Whether you like the classy upstairs area, or the rowdy and dark downstairs, Brewer's Art will always satisfy.

Even if you're not a regular beer drinker you owe it to yourself to try their seasonal specials. At the time of writing this review they have a Peppercorn Tripel and a Sour Cherry Ale on draught. The Peppercorn Tripel is absolutely NOT to be missed. It's 9% ABV, so they serve it in half-pints. But the flavor is just overwhelming.

If you're more conservative you can always get their famous Resurrection, a Baltimore Favorite.

Resurrection is one of my favorite beers of all time. They also have a good burger and the rosemary fries are tough to beat. I've never tried the main dining room as it's a little pricey for my non-existent income. I'll check it out someday.

A great place for a drink after work or with friends. The rosemary-garlic fries are a must and I'm a fan of the 'session' brew, Beacon Ale. It gets pretty crowded on the weekend nights, but otherwise is a great place to grab good food and drink.

Best beer in the city. Resurrection is a classic, but they currently have what I think is a seasonal called Coup de Boule. It is flavored with Cinnamon and Cardamum which makes for excellent taste. I typically don't like flavored beers because they taste like the flavor, and not beer. This tastes like beer with flavor, if that makes any sense at all. We usually eat dinner somewhere else, but save room for beer and garlic fries at Brewer's Art for dessert.

What's not to like about Brewers Art? Beers bewed in the Belgian style? I'm in. The Ozzy is my fav but the Cerebus tripel in a great starter (and sometimes one is all you need at 9%abv). The food is great and the garlic fries are in a class by themselves. Great burgers. Downstairs you can drink your pain away and upstairs is elegant as can be. Best of both worlds with great brew in both. (say that 10 times fast)
