This place gives you huge portions at a reasonable price. It's very laid back and the perfect lunch place.

Fantastic sandwich & ice cream shop hidden smack in the heart of Fed Hill.

Sandwiches: Go for one of their interesting combinations, not just a ho-hum turkey on wheat. Portions are huge, share-able. Lots of choices on the menu.

Ice cream: Amazing flavors, I'm completely comfortable using the word "extraordinary" to describe it. Prices are slightly higher, somewhat close to a Maggie-Moos or Cold Stone.

Seating in the back is easy to miss but it's there & they also have a small back patio for summer weather.

My only complaint is the hours: Beach Bums is closed on Sundays, the ideal day to enjoy a casual lunch or ice cream cone. However, the owner was friendly & willing to stay open a few minutes longer the once I stopped in just after closing time (9pm) on a weekday.
