The Baltimore Farmer's Market may be the Best Market in Town. It provides you a huge selection of fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, flowers, etc. Also, if you're hungry, the Crêpes are pretty famous as Zeke's Coffee and Bmore Sprouts! Take a look on the 2009 listing (www.bop.org/bop/uploads/File/LIST09PPL.doc) and...

Best Farmers' Market in the city. Good central location, with relatively generous parking. Excellent selection, though early weeks can be lean on serious produce. Plenty of flowers and plants, though. Go early to avoid the crush on the always-popular food stalls. Watch for peak season for your favorite items; peak-tomato season is a particular pleasure.

Highlights: Reid Orchards, Martin Farms, mushroom lady, the nut gals, the creperie, the omelette stand, and the Vietnamese table

Now that the warning is out of the way, the Farmers' market is a great place to head early on a Sunday morning. Depending on the season they have lots of fruits, vegetables, and other goods. All through the season you can find pit beef, pad thai, cajun and carribbean goodies, and zeke's coffee. Early in the season expect a lots of plants, flowers, breads and people selling miscellaneous stuff. In the summer and fall expect plants to be replaced by fruits and veggies.
