For my beau's birthday this year, he wanted to go to a Happy Hour. I took him to the Baltimore Cupcake Co. Happy Hour. He was only momentarily disappointed.... once he got outside with a box of cupcakes, each freshly made, and each only $1, he perked up a bit. After he horked 2 of those bad boys down, he was much better. (Digression.... he was then treated the Gertrude's dinner & drinks... so the boy made out!)
But really? Fresh cupcakes for $1? How can that be wrong? There are tastey flavors, often rotating. The staff is always pleasant and thrilled to see you. And I LOVE the yummy frosting smashed all over my face as I shove these sweets in my face. Rock on for cupcakes!

I have to admit...I've been a bit obsessed by cupcakes lately. So I was superexcited to hear that BCC was literally minutes from my apartment! The cupcakes definately live up to the hype. My favorite was the Peanut Butter Cup. Real peanut butter inside my cupcake rocks!! I only gave it 4 stars because I need to try a few more flavors before I deem it 5 star worthy. But if you're jonesing for a cupcake, this is a great place to go.

Love Baltimore Cupcake Co! Have tried lots of the cupcakes in Baltimore and these are definitely my favorite. They have the perfect cake bottom consistency and lots of frosting on top. Some might say too much, but not me! Try the pumpkin amaretto ones in the Fall. Also good are the chocolate rasberry and chocolate peanut butter yumm!
