Nestled into the charming bit of Bolton HIll, the tree lined streets add to the aesthetic of B. The menu is changed weekly, and the chefs serve up thoughtful, well flavoured food. A must try for any Baltimore foodie.

Favourite menu items include: B House Ravioli (without the brown sage butter, though. Too greasy. Perfect without it.). Best marinara sauce, Margarhita Pizza (features spinach, which is nice.), Bacio (hazelnut) and Red Beet ice cream ( who would think that beet ice cream would work, let alone be amazing?). Also, awesome cappuccino and grilled chicken panini's. Plan on trying many other items, as well. If only they weren't stingy with the doling out one piece of bread thing.

b has been, and remains my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. You can count on the polenta, scallops, and risotto being fantastic. The wine list is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable enough to make great recommendations.

Fantastic food. Slightly pricey, but pretty much worth it.

Maybe this is the wine talking, but b bistro was the best outdoor dining experience I've had in Baltimore. Recently went on a Friday night and the perfect weather combined with the charming Bolton Hill neighborhood was a superb combo. For a moment I forgot I was in Baltimore...in a good way. Service was impeccable and our faaaabulous (emphasis mine) waiter made sure we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves along the way.

Started with the calamari and while very fresh and well cooked, the portion left me thinking, "where's the rest?" For the entree, my beef tenderloin was solid, but didn't blow my mind. Finished up with homemade ice cream trio (pistachio, vanilla basil, nutella) and profiteroles. The vanilla basil made my taste buds uncomfortable at first, but it grew on me. Overall, the experience outshined (outshone?) the food. There wasn't anything wrong with the food, but it just didn't live up to the other parts that made b worth the visit. Alas, another 3 stars...I'd bump it to 3.5 if I could, but I can't.
