I've been disappointed with two food outlets in Baltimore ... Chinese and Mexican. Arcos food is absolutely delicious and the places looks straight out of Central/South America. There was a cat walking above our heads on the clear roof on the back patio. It doesn't get more Mexico than that.

Though Arcos is really nothing like the typical Mexican restaurant you would find in the states, they've got great, authentic south of the border food. For example, I got a mean that was chicken with rice and beans. I expected that to be shredded chicken over top Taco Bell style rice with mashed up beans. It was actually a quarter of a chicken, with red beans in an awesome sauce with fresh crumbled cheese on top (Not cheap shredded cheese from a bag).

I'm still on the hunt for U.S. style Mexican food, but Arcos is a refreshing authentic alternative

After hearing good reviews and finding a $20 coupon online, I gave it a try. I was excited to find tortilla soup on the menu and disappointed when it arrived, it was nothing like what I had eaten in Mexico. The guacamole was fairly good, but the rest of the meal was very so so, in terms of taste and ingredients - again nothing like what I have eaten in latin america. Maybe it was an off night, but this place just did not live up to the reputation it has.

GREAT margaritas, wonderful staff, and nice food. It can get a little pricey for what it actually is, though.

Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Step inside and you feel like you are instantly transported south of the border. The staff here is extremely friendly and the margaritas are top-notch. If the weather's nice, check out their outdoor patio. Kick back, much on some chips and guac and savor this little slice of Mexican paradise. Muy bueno.

Love this place, food is authentic and the interior is very unique. Best mexican food in the city in my opinion.
