Annabel Lee's is the most refreshing restaurant in Canton. Despite looking like an unassuming corner pub from the street, the door opens up to a clean, warm atmosphere that is always worth the wait. My wife and I have been upwards of ten times, and the menu always brings me back for more. There are always a plethora of unique specials ranging from BBQ Chicken Nachos to Duck Caesar Salad Wraps to Bacon Wrapped Filets. They have great beers on tap, an unbelievably nice waitstaff, and very reasonable prices. This is the one restaurant in town that has truly separated itself from the competition. They've got it right!

There used to be a little place called Lulu's on Broadway. At Lulu's, I discovered the bestest lamb burger I had ever tried. It was succulent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. But not long after I found this perfect burger, Lulu's closed down. I was depressed for a good two days, mourning the loss of my perfect lamb burger. I had only known it for such a short time.
Fast forward several months, and even a few visits to a new neighbor, called Annabel Lee. I had heard the stories, confirmed the rumors: the Lulu's chef was now cooking here! But alas, for some reason, I just never saw my lamb burger again.
Well, I did, the other night, albeit a bit smaller, in the form of sliders. And though smaller in stature... they were every bit as good as I had remembered.

The food. While I am a repeat offender with the cheap BLT w/ sweet potato candied fries, the other dishes I have gotten at Annabel Lee's have also been great. I recommend the brie for an appetizer, their soups are incredible (the black bean we had was the best ever, and the cream of crab had HUGE chunks of crab in it), and even the red snapper we ordered last weekend was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The atmosphere: The interior is very cozy and inviting, and the big band music lends itself perfectly to the atmosphere. There is a definite Edgar Allen Poe vibe, but it's done very tastefully.
The service: The GM, Kurt, is always attentive and the staff there is always extremelby friendly. If you walk in to Annabel Lee's with someone else, expect for the servers to introduce themselves, thereby creating an almost familial setting.
