Tom co-founded 600block with Patti. His primary focus is business and product strategy, marketing and building the 600block community.

Tom’s background includes founding two successful dotcom music companies and three years running Internet marketing for a FORTUNE 200 company. From 1997 to 1999, Tom founded and operated one of the world’s first and largest online music lyrics archives.

He lives in Canton and can often be found scouting new Baltimore places, reading Techcrunch and relentlessly searching for the perfect pizza.

Patti Chan - Co-founder / Design & Development

Patti co-founded 600block with Tom. Her primary focus is user experience, web design and making features fun to use.

Prior to 600block, Patti spent 4 years at an award-winning creative agency, developing interactive for clients ranging from National Geographic to STX Lacrosse. She teaches Interactive Media at Maryland Institute College of Art and digital media workshops at the Johns Hopkins University.

Patti currently resides in Canton. She's an uber-foodie with a special knack for dissecting a dish's ingredients in a single bite. She enjoys yoga, javascript and fluffy white dogs.

Flip Sasser - Lead Developer

Flip is the lead developer at 600block. With strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, testing, optimization, and new web technologies, Flip applies his talents to a wide variety of projects. One day you might find him working on Facebook integration and another day he might be writing a recommendation engine to help you find new restaurants.

Previously, Flip lived in Denver where he owned and operated a web development and consulting business. Flip calls Canton home and when he’s not happily coding, he enjoys the great outdoors, gaudy cinema and beefy cheeseburgers.
